Northern Aura (Original Painting)

10 x 13 Acrylic Painting on canvas board. This painting also has glitter incorporated into the aurora and it creates a beautiful pop of light (that's tough to capture on camera). This painting is inspired by my childhood adventures growing up in the harsh winters of MN. I distinctly remember going up north with family on many occasions and seeing the northern lights dance above us. It was an extraordinary experience and it has impacted my approach to painting skies and I hope that it inspires your artistic journey as well. If nothing it's a beautiful piece and it's a great way to add some whimsy to your living space.
