Protected Waters (ORIGINAL PAINTING)

Original painting in acrylic on 8” x 10” canvas board of a loon protecting the Minnesota Boundary Waters. 

The painting depicts a loon protecting the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota. The BWCA has the highest loon population in the USA. Toxic copper mining threatens these loons and more generally wildlife, land, and all of us. It is important to push back against the threat of this mining. 

Proceeds from the sale of this painting will be donated to @savethebwca, an organization doing advocacy and awareness work to gain critical protection for the Boundary Waters.
